The Data Model Explorer – Enterprise Edition is a purchasable extension specifically designed for large and complex SAP LeanIX workspaces. Building on the foundation of the Community Edition, it adds the advanced capabilities needed to manage large and complex workspaces with greater transparency, governance, and control.
In addition to delivering a clear overview of fact sheets, sections, subsections, and attribute configurations, the Enterprise Edition provides visibility into field-level permissions across all roles (default and custom), supporting stronger governance in environments with complex authorization models. It also enables exporting the entire data model configuration in Excel format for selected or all fact sheets, including fields, dropdowns values, and the complete permissions.
With these capabilities, the Enterprise Edition empowers organizations to document, analyze, and govern complex LeanIX environments at scale — ensuring consistency, compliance, and efficiency across the SAP LeanIX workspace.

Add to Workspace
- Contact us to purchase and add the report to your workspace
Set Report Visibility
- Navigate to the Workspace Administration area.
- Select the Reports tab.
- Ensure that the Data Model Explorer report is set to visible so that it appears in your reports list.
Open and Explore
- Go to your reports and open the Data Model Explorer.
- Begin exploring your data model, gaining a clear overview of fact sheets, sections, subsections, and attribute configurations.
Customize Settings
- Click on the settings icon within the report.
- Customize the languages displayed and select which columns you want to view.
- Adjust these settings to tailor the report to your preferences.
No specific configurations or attributes are required for this report to function. The report shows the data model as it is configured in the workspace.
