The contract extension adds a contract fact sheet type to your meta model. By linking contracts to applications and providers in your inventory, you can track vendor agreements, monitor renewal deadlines, and gain visibility into the financial dependencies of your IT landscape.
Details
The extension is designed for enterprise architects and workspace administrators who want to bring contract data into their enterprise architecture practice and use it to support decisions about application lifecycle, vendor governance, and IT spending.
If your organization has previously added a fact sheet type to track contracts, the contract extension introduces a separate, standardized contract fact sheet type. SAP LeanIX does not automatically migrate data from custom configurations to the new contract fact sheet type. You are responsible for any data migration required to migrate existing contract data.
